Alexander began playing tennis at 2 years old with his father. His favourite surfaces are hard and grass court, shots are serve and dropshots. Alexander’s team is made of his coach Artem Suprunov, his physiotherapist Jeremy Kohler, working in synergy to support him. Alexander turned professional in 2016 and debuted in the Top 100 in 2017. Since 2020, Alexander ended every season inside the top 50 of the ATP rankings. Alexander holds eight ATP Tour titles including two ATP 500 events in Halle and six ATP 250 (Montpellier two times, Antwerp, Gstaad, Kitzbuhel and Hangzhou). Alexander also reached 7 other finals on the ATP Tour and a Grand Slam Quarter-final in Roland-Garros.
